Course expectations

My expectations for the German culture course, would be of course to learn more about German culture.  I am of German decent and would love to know more about the country, the heritage, and the culture.  I would like to learn more about Germany than what they taught me in school which was only about Nazi Germany.  I find their cultural norms very different from ours and I find them very interesting.
